Dr. Rodriguez is on staff at both Scripps and Sharp hospitals in San Diego. He practices the full spectrum of plastic surgery including body contouring, breast surgery; facial rejuvenation, reconstruction after trauma to the face and body and pediatric reconstruction. Dr. Rodriguez earned his medical degree from the National University of Mexico where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed his integrated plastic surgery residency training at Virginia Tech Carilion. He then pursued further training in craniofacial surgery at one of the top programs in the country at the University of California San Diego.

Dr. Rodriguez has written numerous articles that have been published in major plastic and aesthetic surgery journals and he has presented extensively at national and international conferences in plastic surgery. Prior to his surgical training, he honed his aesthetic skills while completing a prestigious N.I.H research fellowship at the University of Michigan studying complex facial reconstruction. He continues to be active member in academia and always stays current with the latest advancements in aesthetic surgery.
